We stayed at Alameda for a few days and had an amazing time. The owner and staff were incredibly welcoming and made us feel like part of the family. The location was perfect, right in the heart of the city, and we were able to easily explore and take pictures. The rooms were clean and well-organized, with a new and silent AC that kept us comfortable. We extended our stay because of the kind and helpful host, and we can't wait to come back next year for a longer visit. Thank you, Sra. Manuela and team, for an awesome experience!

The hostel's location in the city center was very convenient for exploring Portimao and its attractions. I had a fantastic time exploring the nearby Aqua Portimao Shopping Center and Continente Shopping Center - perfect for any shopping enthusiasts! The free WiFi throughout the property was a great perk, allowing me to stay connected and share my travel experiences with friends and family. The twin room I stayed in had a balcony with a beautiful view and air conditioning, ensuring a comfortable and enjoyable stay. The shared kitchen was a convenient feature for preparing meals or enjoying a cup of coffee in the mornings.

Exceptional stay at a conveniently located, clean hostel. Arriving early, I was promptly checked in and given a spacious 6-bed dorm all to myself. The hostel is situated in a peaceful pedestrian zone, ensuring a quiet night's sleep. I appreciated being able to keep my door key when picking up my luggage later in the day. I had a comfortable and hassle-free experience at Alameda. Highly recommended!

The location of the hostel is very convenient, as it is close to the center and provides easy access to various attractions in the area. Guests can easily explore the old town, visit the marina, and enjoy the beautiful beaches nearby. the hostel also offers a comfortable terrace where guests can relax and enjoy the company of fellow travelers.

The lack of privacy in the showers can be uncomfortable , as there is no adequate separation between the shower area and the rest of the bathroom.

The staff was friendly and helpful, always willing to assist with any questions or concerns we had. the location was great, with easy access to public transportation and plenty of shops and restaurants nearby. - the rooftop terrace was a nice feature, providing a calm and relaxing space to hang out and enjoy the views.

The rooms were quite noisy at night, making it difficult to get a good night's sleep. It seemed like there was constant noise coming from outside and other guests.

Stayed in low season, had the whole place to myself! Amazing volunteer made my stay special - helped with my bike, took me to hidden beach, and had great conversations. Hostel was super clean, had a nice smell and a cozy innerhouse patio. Great location with everything nearby. Staff was friendly and welcoming, felt honored. Highly recommended!

The location was super convenient, close to bus and train stations for easy access to beaches. The place was clean with two bathrooms and a balcony in our room. The kitchen had all amenities and the AC was a lifesaver in the heat. The hostel was not crowded and had small shops, a mall, and restaurants nearby. The owner went above and beyond to help us with attractions and even drove us to the bus stop. Stay here for an amazing experience!
